SOLUTION: In this safety device for the working machine, when a shoe detecting means (a sensor 32 mounted on a pedal cover 31) provided near the pedal 14 detects the existence of working shoes at a predetermined position on the pedal 14, a locking means (a locking pin 52 rising on or setting in a locking pin holder 51) permits the operation of an operating mechanism. Unless the shoe detecting means detects the existence of the working shoes, the locking means constrains the operation of the operating mechanism to stop a moving body.
