    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding device for a moving-side member, capable of mechanically disposing an automatic retracting function and an automatic extruding function between the moving-side member and a fixed-side member regardless of the structure of a slide rail.
      SOLUTION: The sliding device includes a sliding force applying member attached to the moving-side member, a sliding force passive member attached to the fixed-side member, and a latch member for retaining the moving-side member in the retracted state. Part of the sliding force applying member is elastically pressure-welded to the sliding force passive member. The sliding force passive member has a converting mechanism for retracting the moving-side member to a prescribed position if the moving-side member reaches the prescribed position and converting the force into the extrusion force if the retracted moving-side member reaches a prescribed position. The latch part retains the moving-side member in the temporarily stopped state while the elastic force in one direction applied to the sliding force applying member is changed from the retraction force to the extrusion force of the moving-side member.
