    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve voice quality by a simpler method in a voice communication apparatus for performing voice communication utilizing VoIP.
      SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a detecting unit 201 for detecting whether or not a communication application 200 is presently used as executable by the voice communication apparatus and including an application of VoIP; and an operation control unit 202 for prohibiting the operations of communication applications other than the presently used VoIP application, on the basis of a result of detection by the detecting unit 201 if the VoIP application is activated. Also, the unit 202 prohibits the activation of communication applications other than the VoIP application on the basis of a result of detection of the detecting unit 201 if the VoIP application is presently used.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a voice information communication system building up a communication environment among apparatuses even under a situation of security communication such as a NAT (network address translation) / firewall in a network such as the Internet.
      SOLUTION: A LAN facility transmits a request to a WAN facility (1) and the request reaches the WAN facility through a request transmission process, that is, the processing by the NAT / firewall 54 (2). A Dir server system 20 at the WAN facility side receiving the request creates and returns a reply IP packet wherein a destination IP address in a TCP/IP header in compliance with the TCP/IP protocol in an IP packet to be returned on the basis of information of the request packet is replaced with the global IP address of the NAT (3). The NAT performs IP address conversion and transfers the return request to the LAN facility of the sender (4). Thus, the two facilities can accurately build up a call or control relation with each other.
