摘要： PURPOSE:To measure a flow rate accurately by a method wherein an electromagnetic flowmeter is mounted in the course of a conveyance tube through which a slurry-like fluid is conveyed under pressure and a heater is provided on the upstream side thereof to heat the slurry-like fluid. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic flowmeter 2 is mounted in the course of a conveyance tube 1 through which a slurry-like fluid is conveyed under pres sure. A heater 5 is provided on the upstream side of the flowmeter to heat the slurry-like fluid up to 30-90 deg.C and the slurry-like fluid enters the flowmeter 2 once heated up to 30-90 deg.C with the device 5. With such an arrangement, the slurry-like fluid reduces in friction resistance with a higher fluidity thereof so that it flows smoothly especially along the outer circumference of a measur ing tube 3 of the flowmeter 2 to prevent poor contact or the like of a dewatering cake with an electrode 4. The flow of the slurry-like fluid near the electrode 4 becomes smooth thereby always enabling accurate measurement of a flow rate stably.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating method for a waste drying facility capable of drying stably waste, big in the fluctuation of moisture. SOLUTION: Hot-air is sent from a hot-air furnace 1 into a drier 2 to dry the waste, then, a part of exhaust gas of the drier 2 is returned into the hot-air furnace 1 by a circulating fan 4. In the invention of the claim 1, a drier inlet temperature is detected to control the amount of returning air by the circulating fan 4 so as to obtain a constant value. In the invention of the claim 2, a drier exit temperature is detected to control the amount of oil supplied to a burner 7 for the hot-air furnace 1 and regulate the amount of oil supplied to the burner 7 in accordance with the increasing or decreasing tendency of an exhaust gas temperature of the drier 2.

摘要： PURPOSE:To sharply extend a period of time before which the clogging of a filter cloth is caused and to prolong the service life of the filter cloth by continuously or intermittently giving showering to the filter cloth with filter plates being open from the time when the dehydration work of a dehydrator is finished after the filter cloth is washed with water to the time when the next work is started. CONSTITUTION:A perforated pipe 7 having a lot of holes 6 is arranged above the traveling position of a filter cloth 1 and washing liquid, such as city water, is fed to flow from the holes 6 to cause showering. In this constitution, from the time when the dehydration work of a dehydrator is finished after the filter cloth 6 is washed with water to the time when the next work is started, the filter cloth 1 is continuously and intermittently given showering with filter plates being open. Consequently, the filter cloth 1 is more completely washed and the filter cloth 1 is not dried and further washing operation is continuously performed to the filter cloth 1. Therefore, a period o time before which the filter cloth 1 is clogged is markedly extended and the life of the filter cloth 1 is markedly prolonged.

SOLUTION: A packing box 3 is constituted of a plurality of packing box pieces joined together by means of a connector so as to be freely disassembled. The packing box 3 is designed to be detachably attached to a casing 1 and to separate from a movable shaft 2 when disassembled into the box pieces. The detachment of the packing box 3 from the casing 1 and the shaft 2 exposes gland packing 6 to facilitate the removal and cleaning thereof. The packing 6 may be temporarily pressed in the box pieces or fitted on the shaft 2 in advance to finish its own stuffing only by the packing box assembly, which way reduces packing replacing manhour.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating CO in a dry waste gas by which CO, dioxin and a malodorous component contained in the dry waste gas is economically removed. SOLUTION: The dry waste gas generated from a dryer 1 or the like for a sludge or refuse is heated in a deodorizing furnace 3 to be deodorized and a part of CO is combusted. After that, the dry waste gas is cooled down to 300-500 deg.C through a heat exchanger 2 and contacted with a nobel metal based catalyst in a catalytic reaction column 5 to oxidize and decompose the remaining part of CO. The dryer 1 is preferably provided with a plate like stirring blade.
