SOLUTION: This cutter is provided with a dial cap 10, bracket 24 attached to the dial cap 10, and adjusting knob 32 whose screw section 45 is screwed into a hole 31 in the bracket 24 and brim 36, at the lower end of the screw section 45, fit to a yarn cutting means 37 at the end of its base. This constitution holds the yarn cutting means 37 while allowing it to rock in the vertical direction. An adjusting screw 35 is passed through a hole 25 in the bracket 24, and a circular section 30 at its lower end is inserted into a hole 40 in the yarn cutting means 37. The adjusting screw 35 is driven downwards by a spring 26 in such a way to keep only a cutting blade section 39 at the front end of the yarn cutting means 37 in contact with a circular cutter 15.

CONSTITUTION: In a winding device of a circular knitting machine, a winding shaft 2 having splines curved in the screw part 4 is longitudinally movably and rotatably supported on bearings 7 disposed on a pair of supports 6, and plural cylinders 19 different in the diameters are connected to each other in a telescopic state. The tip cylinder 19a is fixed to the tip of the winding shaft 2, and the base end cylinder 19 is fixed to the bearing 7 to form a winding shaft cover 18 capable of being stretched in response to the movement of the winding shaft 2. A driving device 40 is operated to move the winding shafts 2 in the mutually approaching direction, stretch the cover 18 and operate a ratchet mechanism 11 to rotate the winding shaft 2 together with the cover 18, thus winding up a knitted fabric on the cover 18. When the winding shaft 2 is pulled out from the fully wound knitted fabric, the driving device 40 is reversely rotated to rotate the cover in the cover-shrinking direction, thus smoothly pulling out the winding shaft 2 from the fully wound knitted fabric.
