摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain detailed, accurate information by arranging an indicator movable along the scale attached to the body and aligning the position of the indicator responding to the peak flow of exhaled air on the hollow body with the logarithmic scale attached to the body. SOLUTION: This peak flow meter 10 comprising a body 16 having an inlet 12 and an outlet 14 has a handle, and has a window slot 22 covered by a transparent window glass 20 on the body 16. An indicator 26 mounted in the inner side of the body 16 can be seen through the window slot 22 and window glass 20. The indicator 26 can move longitudinally with respect to the body 16 between the inlet 12 and the outlet 14. A logarithmic scale 24 is attached near the window slot 22 and measures the position of the indicator 26. Thus, in the lower part of the scale, the space between the measurement marks are greater, while in the upper part of the scale, the space between the measurement marks are smaller, therefore, small variations are easier to read in the more important lower part with larger measurement mark spaces.
