    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rewritable thin image display sheet capable of securely displaying a full-color image in a rewritable state although the configuration is extremely simple.
      SOLUTION: The rewritable thin image display sheet has a base layer 12, a transparent layer 14 which is arranged at predetermined intervals with the base layer 12, and a medium 18 which is charged between the base layer 12 and transparent layer 14 and has color magnetic powder 16 dispersed, the medium 18 being capable of phase change between a 1st phase wherein the color magnetic powder 16 is allowed to move and a 2nd phase wherein the color magnetic powder 16 is inhibited from moving; and the color magnetic powder 16 is formed nearly spherically and magnetized, and further colored so that one hemispherical part 16N corresponding to one magnetic pole N is black and the other hemispherical part 16S corresponding to the other magnetic pole S is not black (cyan, magenta, or yellow).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser spark plug, a laser igniter and an engine exhibiting stable ignition performance by low electric power consumption.
      SOLUTION: This laser igniter includes a laser device 1, an optical fiber 2 being a transmission passage, and the laser spark plug G. This laser spark plug G includes a lens device 3 and a target T. The laser device 1 output a laser beam to be made incident on the transmission passage 2. The lens device 3 is connected to the transmission passage 2, and emits the laser beam so as to be condensed to the target T. A characteristic of this invention is in a point that the target T includes an oxidation catalyst 41. This oxidation catalyst 41 can produce large explosive force for promoting oxidation combustion of combustion gas by this heat when generating heat by condensing the laser beam to the target. The oxidation catalyst 41 is generally hardly consumed, and has a property of being semipermanently usable, and is substantially unrelated to the secular deterioration.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a rewritable thin picture display sheet by which a picture is positively displayed in a rewritable state although the rewritable thin picture display sheet is of a very simple configuration.
      SOLUTION: The rewritable thin picture display sheet 10 comprises: a base layer 12; a transparent layer 14 disposed at a prescribed distance from the base layer 12; and low-melting point wax 18 having magnetic powder 20 dispersed therein and filled between the base layer 12 and the transparent layer 14. The method of manufacturing the rewritable thin picture display sheet comprises: a first process for forming a first low-melting point wax layer 18a by applying the magnetic powder-free low-melting point wax 18 on the rear face of the transparent layer 14; a second process for forming a second low-melting point wax layer 18b by applying the magnetic powder 20-dispersed low-melting point wax 18 on the top face of the base layer 12; and a third process for superimposing the transparent layer 14 on the base layer 12 in such a way that the first low-melting point wax layer 18a comes into contact with the second low-melting point wax layer 18b.
