    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an incandescent lamp which restrains halation to be generated by reflecting light from a filament with a base insulator, and reduces light to be leaked at the time of using a spot light as a light source.
      SOLUTION: The incandescent lamp has: a tube-shaped bulb 11; the tube-shaped base insulator 40 for surrounding a seal section at a part of the bulb 11; and a filament 20 formed into a plane in the bulb 11. When the seal section of the bulb 11 is arranged to face downward, a front face side zone 40a is higher than a back face side zone 40b as a border on a plane F of the filament 20 regarding a peripheral wall of the base insulator 40. An upper end of the back face side zone 40b is located lower than a height level of a reference line A which passes: a point S separating a distance equal to a light center distance in a front face side direction perpendicular to the plane F of the filament 20 from the center O of the filament 20; and an intersection point P of a straight line extending from the plane F of the filament 20 and an outer peripheral edge at an upper end of the front face side zone 40a of the base insulator 40.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for an electric bulb, which allows an attachment/detachment operation of the electric bulb to be carried out even when operating either of a front-side operation lever or a rear-side reflector without turning down the reflector during replacement of the electric bulb by the operation lever; and to provide a lighting system.
      SOLUTION: When the reflector 21 is brought into a turned-down state, a rear-side pin reception holder 12b and a rear-side pin reception fitting 13b can be moved rearward, and an area between both the pin reception holders 12a and 12b is expanded, whereby an electric bulb L can be replaced. When the reflector 21 is brought into an erected state, the pin reception fittings 13a and 13b sandwich a base pin L1 of the electric bulb L. When the operation lever 17 is tilted to the side allowing an electric bulb to be inserted/extracted, the sandwiching of the base pin L1 of the electric bulb L by the pin reception fittings 13a and 13b is brought into a released state, whereby the electric bulb L can be replaced. When the operation lever 17 is tilted to an electric bulb sandwiching side, the pin reception fittings 13a and 13b sandwich the base pin L1 of the electric bulb L. When the operation lever 17 is tilted to the side allowing the electric bulb to be inserted/extracted, the reflector 21 is not allowed to swing into the turned-down state.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel socket for a halogen lamp capable of attaching and detaching a bulb both at a front side (a lens side) and a rear side (a reflector side).
      SOLUTION: A base pin of a bulb is pinched by a pair of pin-rest fittings 4a, 4b as both pin-rest holders 2a, 2b are pressed toward a pinching direction by both pressing springs 6, 6', when an operating lever 8 is at an activating position and a control lever 7 is at an activating position. When the control lever 7 is at a turned-down position, the both pin-rest holders 2a, 2b are separated from each other by release of pressing force by the front-side pressing spring 6 to free pulling off and plugging of the bulb. When the control lever is at the activating position and the operating lever is at the turned-down position, the both pin-rest holders 2a, 2b are separated from each other by release of pressing force of the rear-side pressing spring 6' to free pulling off and plugging of the bulb.
