    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-leak repairing method by which a gas-leak in a gas-pipe joint or in a gas-pipe mechanical joint can be repaired by simple work. SOLUTION: In the case where a gas-leak occurs for any reason in a gas-pipe joint or in a gas-pipe mechanical joint, the joint is repaired in the following way. When a screw in the joint comes loose, or a packing or an O-ring in the inside of a mechanical joint is degraded to cause a gas-leak, the workability of conventional repairing-methods are not satisfactory. In the present gas-leak-repairing method, a putty-like material is applied to the gas joint, or to the mechanical joint to give a temporal sealing, then a sheet of visible light curing property is wound around and the material is cured.
