    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage structure of a washing machine, capable of draining drain water smoothly to a bath room even there is a rising part penetrating through a partition between the bath room and its adjoining room.SOLUTION: A drainage structure of a washing machine 1 penetrates through a partition wall 8 between a bath room 2 and its adjoining room 5 and introduces drain water of the washing machine 1 installed in the adjoining room 5 to the bath room 2 by natural downward flow. The drainage structure includes: a joint part 22 to which a drainage hose 7 of the washing machine 1 is connected; and a discharge pipe 12 which has a main piping part A extending from the joint part 22 toward the bath room 2 and a curved piping part B continuous with a main piping part A and piped in an inverted U-shape around a penetration part of the partition wall 8 on the downstream side of the discharge pipe 12. The discharge pipe 12 is formed to have a pipe diameter which causes drain water flowing down from the washing machine 1 to generate siphonage in the curved piping part B.
