摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the catalytic activity of an aromatizing reaction catalyst of methane. SOLUTION: An oxide of a metal element such as molybdenum, rhenium, tungsten, a salt thereof, an organometal compound thereof is evaporated or sublimed to be gasified to be deposited on a porous metallo-silicate and this metallo-silicate is heated. The metal element compound is uniformly dispersed throughout the fine gaps or pores of the metallo-silicate and, in catalytic reaction, active spots of reaction are increased and the reaction can be performed more actively. Further, there is an effect such that the amount of a metal necessary for obtaining activity almost same to that of a conventional method is reduced.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatizing method for simultaneously producing aromatic compounds such as benzene or naphthalene and hydrogen using lower hydrocarbons such as natural gas. SOLUTION: A catalyst material containing at least one of rhenium, zinc, gallium, cobalt, iron, chromium, tungsten, molybdenum, rare earth metals or their compounds is supported on a porous metallosilicate having pores with pore diameters of 4.5 to 6.5 Å. Catalytic activity is markedly improved and the aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, xylene or naphthalene and hydrogen are efficiently produced from lower hydrocarbons.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a snow-melting agent uniformly spreadable and highly settable on road surface, easy to handle, and useful for preventing road freezing, melting ice or snow by including sodium chloride in an amount greater than a specified level and by being constituted of granules having an average size within a specified range. SOLUTION: This snow-melting agent is such one as to contain >80 wt.% of sodium chloride and consist of granules 6 with an average size of 1-10 mm. More precisely, this snow-melting agent consists of columnar granules with an axial average length of 2-10 mm and the average major axis of the section perpendicular to the axis of 2-6 mm. This snow-melting agent is produced by compression molding of the sodium chloride 125 μm in average particle size as a byproduct from the manufacturing process for sodium chlorate by electrolytic method to afford a compression molded form 4 which, in turn, is cut with cutting rolls 5, 5'. The quantity of this snow-melting agent to be spread is pref. 5-50 g/m2.

Aromatic hydrocarbons and hydrogen are produced using lower hydrocarbons as the raw materials in the presence of the catalyst, and preferably in the presence of carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide. By this method, the aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene, toluene, xylene and naphthalene and hydrogen are efficiently produced. Further, when the reaction is carried out in the presence of carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide, the conversion rate of the reaction is improved, lowering of the formation velocity with the passage of time is suppressed and the catalytic activity is stably maintained for a long period of time.
