    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of seal failure caused by the filling resin's covering the sealant in an organic electroluminescence (EL) display device in which an element substrate in which an organic EL layer is formed is sealed by a sealing substrate through a sealant and in which a display area is filled with a filling resin.SOLUTION: An organic EL element 30 is formed in a display area of an element substrate 10 made of glass, and a moistureproof film 17 is formed to cover the organic EL element 30. The organic EL element 30 formed in the element substrate 10 is sealed by a sealing substrate 20 through a sealant 50 made of frit glass. In the display area, a gap between the element substrate 10 and the sealing substrate 20 is filled with a filling resin 40. When the sealant 50 is covered with the filling resin 40, this causes seal failure. To prevent the occurence of seal failure, a filling resin stopper 61 is formed using the frit glass so as to prevent the filling resin from coming into contact with the sealant.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of a lead wire resistance difference, in lead wires for connecting wires of a display region to terminals of an IC driver, due to a difference in length between a lead wire for connecting a terminal at a center part of the IC driver and a lead wire for connecting a terminal at an end part of the IC driver.SOLUTION: A drain layer lead wire 302 for connecting a video signal line to a terminal of an IC driver is cut at the middle thereof, and the cut part is bridged by a bridging ITO 50 formed simultaneously with a pixel ITO. By making the length of the bridging ITO 50 in the lead wire for connecting the terminal at the center part of the IC driver larger than the length of the bridging ITO 50 in the lead wire for connecting the terminal at the end part of the IC driver, the lead wire resistance difference is reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit an amount that an evaporation material deposits in a vacuum device, and to shorten a time for cleaning an inside of the vacuum device.SOLUTION: In a vacuum deposition device in which an element substrate is arranged on a vapor deposition mask, and evaporation sources 41, 42 are arranged at a lower part of the vapor deposition mask, a sheet shutter 60 is arranged to cover the evaporation source 41, 42, and vacuum deposition is carried out to the element substrate through an opening 61 of the sheet shutter 60. When not vapor-depositing to the element substrate, the sheet shutter 60 covers openings of the evaporation source 41, 42. Therefore, an evaporation substance from the evaporation source 41, 42 is mainly deposited on the sheet shutter 60. The sheet shutter 60 can be wound to a winding mechanism 62, when an evaporation material accumulates on the sheet shutter 60 more than a predetermined amount, the sheet shutter 60 is interchanged. By this, exchange of the sheet shutter 60 can be performed for a short time, and an amount that an evaporation material deposits in the vacuum device can be inhibited.
