    • PURPOSE: To secure a ball rolling face on natural turf and to set various kinds of degrees of hardness by manually or automatically operating an undulation elevator by the software of a computer and forming the various kinds of undulation by moving artificial turf in the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: A prescribed number of, for example, four undulation elevators 14 are arranged keeping required intervals corresponding to the undulation attaching position of a putting green part. The undulation elevators 14 are manually or automatically ascended/descended by the software of the computer in the vertical direction. The undulation face part of the artificial turf for putting green is ascended upward by the ascent of the undulation elevator 14. The undulation face part is set flatly when it is descended. Therefore, a green with slice or hook is formed by ascending only the elevator 14 on one side of the elevators on the right and left sides. When both elevators are ascended, a green with upward and downward slopes is formed.

    • PURPOSE:To have a sense of interest the same as real by sensing the X- and Y-coordinates of a strucken golf ball on a specified sensing surface, entering the obtained data into a computer, driving a golf game simulation software, and projecting the playing scene in a golf exercising yard on a screen. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of light emitting apparatus L are provided and operated for light emitting one after another by a multi-channel photo-driver which gives signals upon being fed with a scan signal of a multi-channel register actuated with a specified clock. The emitted beams of light from the light emitting apparatus L are received by photo-receivers S corresponding to the light emitting apparatus L, and change in the emitted light blocked by passage of a strucken ball is sensed by a multi-photo-detector, and the result is digitized by a multi-comparator and output. The digitized value output is fed to a parallel-serial scan decoder, and the sensing output synchronized with the corresponding light emitting apparatus L is output serially. With this output, the X- and Y-coordinates of the strucken ball are sensed on the sensing surface, and the result is fed to a specified software and projected on a screen 6 by a projector.
