摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge cable and a charge system, capable of preventing a home electric line from being stolen without changing the configuration of an object to be charged having a secondary battery mounted thereon, and performing a charging operation safely and highly efficiently even using a common power supply.SOLUTION: A charge cable 13 for charging a secondary battery includes: an identification information storage part 31 for storing identification information to identify the charge cable 13; a cable side PLC adaptor 23 for performing an electric power line carrier communication between the charge cable 13 and an electric power supply controller 15; and a CPU 24 for cable for controlling the communication of the identification information. When a plug 21a of the charge cable 13 is plugged in by the electric power supply controller 15, the CPU 24 for cable transmits the identification information to the electric power supply controller 15 by the electric power line carrier communication. In addition, a power charge system for authenticating the charge cable 13 is constructed through the electric power line carrier communication between the charge cable 13 and the electric power supply controller 15.
