    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt mixture lowering a production temperature of the asphalt mixture and a compaction temperature during construction in a paving site from the viewpoint of the prevention of global warming. SOLUTION: The asphalt mixture is obtained by mixing (a) a hydrocarbon having an aniline point of 100°C or lower and viscosity at 40°C of 300 mm 2 /s or less, (b) a low molecular weight polyethylene having a softening point of 130°C or lower, penetration at 25°C of 5 dmm or less, and a weight-average molecular weight of 1,500 or less, (c) a polymer of a vinyl aromatic compound, in which a principal component has a carbon number of 9, having a softening point of 150°C or lower and a weight-average molecular weight of 1,500 or less, and (d) a mixture of an amine and an aliphatic carboxylic acid or (e) sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate, with asphalt.
