    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring mobility and relaxation time by which the mobility and the relaxation time of semiconductive material such as a transfer belt can be very accurately measured.
      SOLUTION: Voltage which gets the space charge limited current area is applied to material to be tested having the space charge limited current area so as to accumulate charge, and the potential of the material to be tested for which the application of voltage has been stopped is measured with time, and the mobility and the relaxation time are obtained by following expressions from obtained relationship between the voltage and the differential coefficient of charge attenuating characteristic. In the expression (1), μ means the mobility, L means the thickness of the material to be tested, V means the voltage, (t) means time and dV/dt means the differential coefficient of the charge attenuating characteristic. In the expression (2), τ means the relaxation time, V means the voltage, (t) means the time and dV/dt means the differential coefficient of the charge attenuating characteristic.

When the value from the dot center coordinates is small, it is in the order from one. When the value in-between the dot extinguishing point center coordinates is small, it is in the reverse order from the total number of the dots of the whole calculation area.
