摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical individual section (IS) machine for manufacturing a glass container.SOLUTION: A parison manufactured in a parison mold is suspended in a blow mold located below the parison mold without being turned over, and the parison is blown and molded there into the glass container. A reheating shroud may be suitably positioned vertically in the middle between a blank mold and the blow mold so as to reheat the parison before the parison is blown. A vertical IS machine may have a plurality of sections which are positioned closely and adjacently to each other, and each section potentially has pluralities of blank molds and blow molds.

When the P-Switch valve 108 is activated, the blow side mold 116 is set to an OPEN position and the associated blow head 114 is set to an UP position. With the P-Switch valve 108 of the system activated, the blow side machinery 112 cannot be overridden from the blank side 118 of the IS machine 110.
