    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection circuit and a detection method of a capacitance touch panel. SOLUTION: By the detection circuit and the detection method of the capacitance touch panel, a change in a bypass capacitor at the intersection of two traces on the capacitance touch panel is detected to assist distinction between a contact point and a false contact point. A detection cycle includes two non-superimposed phases. In a first phase, an application voltage of the bypass capacitor and a detection capacitor is set. In a second phase, a voltage at the first edge of the bypass capacitor is changed, and a second edge of the bypass capacitor is connected to a first edge of the detection capacitor to change a voltage at a second edge of the detection capacitor. The change is used for determining whether the intersection is brought into contact or not.
