    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely cut off a pair of shutter plates with extremely small power by connectedly strapping the shutter from a pair of slender plates which is equally strapped from side to side and has a seesaw movement by a simple power on-off to a driving unit. SOLUTION: An effector 2 having a symmetrical pair of twin leg parts 2a, 2b are mounted capable to have reciprocating motion driven by the driving unit 1 in a constant stroke. The slim strapped plate 3a strapping the upper shutter plate 5a from left end and the lower shutter plate 5b from the right end is mounted on the twin leg part 2a. The slim strapped plate 3b strapping the upper shutter plate 5a from right end and the lower shutter plate 5b from the left end is mounted on the twin leg part 2b. The pair of shutter plates 5aN5b are established to contact and leave by the seesaw movement of strapped slim plate 3a, 3b caused by the reciprocal motion of the effector 2 driven by the driving unit 1.

    • PURPOSE:To expand the range for selecting thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers and to improve durability by incorporating ultra-fine carbon fibers into an urethane resin and combining these fibers and the resin without impairing the molding conditions of the urethane resin. CONSTITUTION:The lift is produced by adding the general-purpose carbon fibers 1 of a pitch system made from coal tar pitch which does not mingle with other materials to polyurethane 2, then mixing and combining both. Namely, the raw carbon fibers of fineness of a micron unit are cut and pulverized to (0.9mum and are mixed and molded to complete the lift 3. The characteristics inherent to the urethane resin and the characteristics inherent to the carbon fibers act on each other if the lift is constituted in such a manner. The lift having a synergistic effect is thus obtd. Namely, the carbon fibers are enclosed in the urethane resin to form a composite material by incorporating and mingling the carbon fibers into and with the polyurethane elastomer material, by which the tough composite mixture having the increased tensile strength and tear strength and the repulsive elasticity is obtd.
