Therefore, purified water from the purified water outlet 10 is guided by a pipe 15 under its own weight and can move smoothly from the purified water outlet 10 of an adsorbent storage chamber part 11 to a side opening 5b of the cup shape part 5. Thus, the purified water flows out from the side opening 5b to a purified water storage chamber part 3 outside the cup shape part 5 without a hindrance.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water purifier capable of purifying an enough amount of raw water easily and safely without the need of making a special structure for a purifying cartridge.SOLUTION: A purified water receiving port 15a of a PET bottle 15 is inserted into a valve element storage part 4 of a cartridge storage part 3. An actuation member 8 comes into contact with the circumference part of the purified water receiving port 15a to elevate the actuation member 8. Thus, when a valve element 7 is elevated via the actuation member 8 by the PET bottle 15, a water-flow port 6 opens. Hence, the purified water flows out into the PET bottle 15 through a purification cartridge 5, and is stored inside the bottle. A user can use the purified water by removing the PET bottle 15 from the valve element storage part 4.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a simple influenza epidemic warning display to be performed by using a humidity sensor which detects relative humidity without making a major change to a configuration of a conventional CPU.SOLUTION: Recognizing absolute humidity of 7 g/mor less as a warning region where an outbreak of influenza virus occurs, relative humidity corresponding to the absolute humidity of 7 g/mor less is read by using a wet air diagram. Also, a correlation formula is created from the read relative humidity by executing a regression analysis between a dry bulb temperature and the relative humidity at a temperature of 21°C or less. Then, measured values of the dry bulb temperature as well as the relative humidity under a usage environment are detected with a temperature sensor as well as a humidity sensor (S1). A CPU: processes data on the detected dry bulb temperature as well as the relative humidity by substituting the same into the correlation formula (S2); determines whether or not a calculation result a is 7 g/mor less (S3); and, when the calculation result a is 7 g/mor less (S3, YES), makes a display section perform a warning display (S4).
