    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse running preventing device capable of surely detecting a reverse running vehicle and surely reporting reverse running to a driver who does not recognize the reverse running.
      SOLUTION: A doppler module 13-1 is arranged in the vicinity of an exit of an one-way road, and radiates microwaves in a detecting field DA, and receives microwaves reflected from a vehicle in the detecting field. A traveling direction discriminating section 13-5 discriminates the traveling direction of the vehicle for running on the one-way road by detecting phases of a pair of signals outputted from the doppler module 13-1. A warning device 16 is arranged on a location apart from a detecting device 13 in the one-way road. An operation time adjusting section 20-3 responds to signals indicating a reverse running vehicle, which are supplied from the traveling direction discriminating section 13-5, and outputs signals for driving the warning device 16 for a fixed period in response to a distance between the detecting device 13 and the warning device 16.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle approach notification system which can surely notify a user of the approach of a vehicle and prevent deterioration of powers of attention to an alarm. SOLUTION: A Doppler module 11-1 and a horn antenna 11-2 are placed at a first position to radiate a microwave to a detection area and receive a reflected wave from a mobile unit in the detection area. An amplifier 11-3 receives a Doppler signal component supplied from the Doppler module 11-1 and adjusts an amplification gain to adjust the detection area. An HPF 11-4 removes low signal components from the Doppler signal component output from the amplifier 11-3. An operation-time adjustment circuit 12-2 is placed at a second position spaced apart from the first position to generate a signal for a predetermined period of time corresponding to the distance between the first position and the second position when a signal is supplied from the HPF 11-4.
