摘要： A series-connected, skin-current heating pipe circuit comprises a ferromagnetic pipe 7 and an insulated line 8 extending along and inside the ferromagnetic pipe, connected at one end to a single-phase a.c. source 9 and at the other end to each other. For fault detection, an impedance 20 is interposed between the other ends of the pipe 7 and of the line 8, and a detector 30, 31 disposed in the proximity of the a.c. source to detect a fault current when an insulation fault occurs at any point throughout the entire length of the insulated line.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a film by a method wherein cylindrical biaxially oriented films of polypropylene being flattened is cut open at both ends thereof and after the corona discharging of the inner surface thereof, passed through a press roll to join two sheets thereof with no adhesive. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical unoriented film 3 of polypropylene which is stretched and heated at an appropriate temperature is fed between the nip rolls 1 and 2 and biaxially stretched with an air being forced in. The biaxially oriented film 4 is flattened and cut open at both ends thereof to make two sheets of flat films. Both the films undergo a corona discharge treatment in facing inner surfaces thereof with a corona discharge bar 8 and pressed together with a press roll 10 into one sheet of flat film 11.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a highly efficient fluid heater device having a high power factor by a method wherein more than four straight pipes to which an electric current is applied are arranged in parallel and with their axes being arranged on an upright plate in a gridiron pattern, and the fluid to be heated is passed in series while it flows back and first in all the straight pipes. CONSTITUTION:Flowing passage in the heated body is constructed such that the four or more (using a single phase power supply) or six or more (using three- phase power supply) even number of straight pipes 21 to 24 having an equal length are arranged in parallel, respectively, and their axes are placed on the gridiron pattern having either an equal longitudinal or lateral spacing or a different spacing thereof in an axial upright cross section of the group of straight pipes. Ends of the adjacent straight pipes are connected to each other by the bent pipes 25 to 27 having the same shape and same size in at least their longitudinal and lateral directions in such a manner as the fluid to be heated is passed in series while it flows back and forth in all the straight pipes starting from the inlet part 29 to the outlet part 30, the inlet part 29 and the oulet part 30 are electrically connected and a plurality of electric pole terminals R and S are arranged in the bent pipes and the electrical connection part.
