    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covering plate for rooftop greening having the following features of: having a light weight even after plant is grown; requiring no layer for retaining/draining water; having easiness in laying work, requiring less operation time for laying it at a place where the laying work is carried out; requiring less labor for an operator; having reversibility to the original greening condition after removal for once; having easiness in maintenance; being prevented from blowing off with wind; being prevented from root rot; requiring no specific farm and operator; and requiring cheep production cost and laying cost.SOLUTION: The covering plate comprises: particulate substances 52 of light porous concrete comprising a large number of holes and absorbing water moderately; a binder 54 providing a gap having a moderate draining ability between a plurality of particulate substances so that the particulate substances are attached with each other, reinforcement means 56 reinforcing binding between the particulate substances and the binder in a mixture 55 of the particulate substances and the binder. The particulate substances and the binder are solidified in a flat plate shape comprising an upper surface 50a and lower surface 50b. In addition, planting depressions 50c having an opening on its upper surface and on which plants may grow are provided. The planting depressions comprise a bottom 50g with no penetration hole at its lower surface.

      SOLUTION: The water-retaining rooftop floor structure is arranged on a water proofing layer constituting a rooftop so as to maintain the water retention on the rooftop, wherein an air layer, a substrate layer and a water retention layer are stacked in this order on the water proofing layer. The water retention layer is a water-retaining panel having many voids, and is mainly composed of two components of autoclaved cellular lightweight concrete granular substances and cement with the ratio of the two components being 18-70 pts.mass of the cement per 100 pts.mass of the autoclaved cellular lightweight concrete granular substances (a dry surface state).
