    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of the height of steel towers and prevention of abnormal transverse swing, by constituting a jumper spacer so that the vertical distance between jumper wires is smaller than the horizontal distance between jumper wires. SOLUTION: The spacer 5 is provided with mounting sections 6 secured on a horizontal member 1, arms 7 extending from the mounting sections 6, and four clamp sections 8 for holding jumper wires 4 formed at the tips of the arms 7. The clamp sections 8 are so constituted that the clamp sections are installed at the tips of the arms 7 extending from the horizontal member 1 located in the center in four directions and the jumper wires 4 are arranged in a rectangle. The vertical distance H between the jumper wires is smaller than the horizontal distance W between the jumper wires. If the distance H is too small, adjacent clamp sections are brought into contact with each other when the clamp sections 8 are opened, and jumper wire clamping is deteriorated. Therefore, the distance must be such a value that the clamp sections can be sufficiently and easily opened. Thus the height of steel towers can be reduced, and further the angle of transverse swing can be reduced.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a collision sound produced due to a weak wind by the linking mechanism between a clamp and a spacer in an electrical wire clamp used, for example, for a spacer for overhead transmission electric wire. SOLUTION: A lid part 2 is screwed to a clamp body 1, and a clamping mechanism 4 for retaining the lid part 2 and the clamp body 1 in closed state and a linking mechanism for connecting the clamp body 1 to the spacer are provided. The linking mechanism has linking metal fittings 7 that is inserted into a recess 6 of the clamp body, a pin 8 that penetrates through the metal fittings 7 being inserted into the recess, and a spring 11 that is fitted on the pin 8 and presses the metal fittings 7 in the axial direction of the pin. The metal fittings 7 and the recessed surface of the body 1 contact due to the depressing force of the spring 11, thus preventing a collision sound from being produced.
