    • PURPOSE:To accomplish high-accuracy fluid pressure control in an open loop by disposing a pair of pressure plates, the spring force of which can be changed by a step motor in a fluid pressure arithmetic unit adapted to obtain fluid pressure according to an electric signal applied from the outside. CONSTITUTION:When air pressure is supplied from a supply port 11 through an air path 12 to a nozzle 13 to cause pressure to work upon a pressure plate 6, the back pressure is acted upon a pressure plate 7 through an air path 16, an output port 17, an input port 18 and a diaphragm 19. At this time, the spring force of a spring 21 is applied to the pressure plate 6. The spring force is changed in proportion to the travel of a feed screw axially displaced according to the rotation of a rotor 27 caused by a step motor 24. Thus, the output pressure P0 obtained from the output port 17 is proportioned to the number of pulses applied to the step motor 24. Accordingly, a drift in temperature is not caused, which can eliminate the need of temperature compensation to simplify the structure.

    • PURPOSE:To change easily a detection gap length and to improve the detection sensitivity, by comparing and amplifying the back pressure of a detecting nozzle and a reference pressure by a differential pressure amplifier in a hydraulic type micrometer. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air from an air source 11 has pressure reduced by a reducing valve 12 and is adjusted to a supply pressure PS. A gauge 13 is used for this adjustment. When air of the supply pressure PS is jetted onto the surface of a material 17 to be measured on a reference face 16 from a detecting nozzle 15 through a fixed orifice 14, a backpressure P1 corresponding to a detecting gap lX is generated in the supply path to the nozzle. The back pressure is supplied to a comparison pressure supply port of a differential pressure amplifier 18. A reference pressure P3 adjusted by an orifice 19 and a needle valve 20 is supplied to a comparison pressure input port of the differential pressure amplifier, and a pressure switched 23 is operated when the gap length lX becomes a length corresponding to the reference pressure.

Further, air is supplied to the nozzle 45 from a supply port 49 through an orifice 52 and when the back pressure of the nozzle 45 obtained from an output port 51 is denoted as P0, P0=S(Pi1-Pi2)/A, performing arithmetic of differential pressure amplification. When the output port 51 and the 2nd input port 48 are connected to obtain Pi2=P0, P0=S.Pi1/(S+A) and because S>>A, P0=Pi1, performing 1:1 proportional amplification.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the reliability of a venturi pump used as a vacuum source of a vacuum cup type transfer device, by utilizing a pneumatic type computer to control the change-over among supply sources for compressed air fed to the venturi pump without using electrical contacts. CONSTITUTION:Vacuum pressure obtained from a venturi 20 which is connected to a compressed air supply source 21 through a three-position four-way solenoid selector valve 22, is acted upon a vacuum cup 24 through the selector valve 22. The vacuum pressure in the vacuum cup 24 is used as an input signal Pv fed to a pneumatic type computer 25 whose outlet signal Po is fed as a pilot pressure for the selector valve 22 which is therefore controlled by the computer 25, thereby the vacuum pressure of the vacuum cup 24 is regulated. As a result the consumption rate of compressed air may be reduced. The transfer device is actuated by delivering turn-on and -off signals to the selector valve 22.
