摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a teaching method for helping users to teach and learn how to read English, pronunciations, and spellings to enable them to quickly teach and learn correct pronunciations of alphabets of English under minimal guidance and supervision.
SOLUTION: Colors and symbols are adopted in order to express pronunciations of 18 vowels, pronunciations of 30 consonants, pronunciations of phonetic characters, and a silent sound. Each colored alphabetic character with or without a symbol represents a designated pronunciation by graphics to help to represent correct pronunciations from combinations of various spellings of English. This method for representing pronunciations with colors and symbols facilitates lessons of reading and spelling of English words. Thus, students are allowed to conject mistakes from various possible pronunciations, and a long-time concentrated pronunciation practice can be reduced.
