    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing treatment method where, even in a film of a metal surface having a wide area, the film is uniformly heated to a desired melting temperature, and sealing treatment by melting heat treatment is performed, so as to make the film dense. SOLUTION: On a copper sheet base material 3 for continuous casting in which a self-fluxing alloy sprayed coating 21 is formed on the surface, susceptor powder 24 is deposited at a thickness of 2 to 20 mm. In a box body 23, the copper sheet base material 3 for continuous casting is buried in heat insulator powder 22, and the surface of the susceptor powder 24 is coated with the heat insulator powder 22. When the copper sheet base material 3 for continuous casting stored in an applicator 2 is irradiated with microwaves from a microwave oscillation machine 11, the susceptor powder 24 is heat-generated, and the self-fluxing alloy sprayed coating 21 is subjected to melting heat treatment.
