    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a concentration measuring apparatus which is capable of accurately and continuously measuring the concentration of solids in a suspension liquid while separating air bubbles in the suspension liquid.SOLUTION: A measuring container 1 in a cylindrical shape takes in a suspension liquid that flows in a suspension liquid feeding main pipe B and measures a solid concentration in the suspension liquid. The measuring container 1 comprises a suspension liquid supply port 1a which supplies the suspension liquid inside and a discharge port 1b which is provided at a position separated from the suspension liquid supply port 1a in an axial direction to discharge the suspension liquid outside. The measuring container 1 is configured to allow the suspension liquid supplied from the suspension liquid supply port 1a to flow toward the discharge port 1b while forming an eddy-like stream inside the measuring container 1. An ultrasonic transmitter 9A and an ultrasonic receiver 9B of an ultrasonic sensor 9 are provided in such a manner that ultrasonic waves can pass from the ultrasonic transmitter 9A through a portion of the eddy-like stream in the measuring container 1, which is a portion at an outer diameter side in the measuring container, thereby detecting the concentration of solids in the suspension liquid.
