      SOLUTION: The control lever and the movable guide, both attached to the outer side of the measuring tape case body, are separated from each other and connected with respective spindles, and the spindles are coupled to serve as a means by which the movable guide and the stopper are moved from up and down by controlling the control lever, whereby the form of the space in which the movable guide and the cylinder are moved and the form of the protruding wall are changed to make the measuring tape case body compact.
