    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for vehicle which enables a user to easily recognize the gradient of a road under traveling.
      SOLUTION: The device is a head-up display device for vehicle provided with a display 2 for displaying the shape R of a traveling road by projection on the basis of digital map data composed of three-dimensional coordinates information stored in a storage medium, a position detection means 17 for detecting the current position of a vehicle A, and a control means 15 which reads the digital map data out on the basis of the current position of the vehicle A detected by the detection means 17, and allows the display 2 to display the shape R of the traveling road on the front side of the vehicle A. The control means 15 allows the display 2 to display the shape R of the traveling road to be displayed by projection enhancing height differences of the shape R.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for supporting vehicle driving which can automatically drive a vehicle without spending a large amount of costs for infrastructure construction, accurately correct an orbital error even with positional information having a long sampling period, and then automatically drive a vehicle to support safe driving. SOLUTION: The system for supporting vehicle driving has: a computer network 40; a road geometry server 10 for providing road parameters and information; and an apparatus 20 which is placed on the vehicle 70 and which supports driving of the vehicle 70 and/or automatically drives the vehicle 70 by using the road information which includes virtual digital driving orbit (lattice of coordinates) 60 given by the saver 10 and/or calculated by using the road parameters, and GPS (Global Positioning System) information from a GPS satellite 50 for calculating the position of the vehicle 70.
