    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption while a cooling system is operated.SOLUTION: In a cooling system 100, sunlight is converged by a solar panel 101 and a heating medium is heated by the thermal energy of converged sunlight to produce the steam of the heating medium. A condenser 105 is then driven by the thermal energy of the produced steam to compress a gas coolant. The coolant is further cooled and brought into liquid to perform cooling by cooling ambient air by evaporation heat generated in the course of liquid coolant evaporation. In the cooling system 100, steam is generated by the thermal energy of sunlight while taking advantage of the thermal energy of the sunlight and a compressor 104 is driven by the thermal energy of steam, thereby remarkably reducing power consumption during operation.
