SOLUTION: The adhesion composition for a wood contains 0.001 to 0.05 mol of one or more selected from among aluminum, an aluminum compound, iron, an iron compound, boron and a boron compound in 100 g resol type phenol resin having a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 2,000 or more converted in terms of polystyrene measured by high speed liquid chromatography and molecular weight distribution having a dispersion (Mw/Mn) of 4 or less to be a ratio of weight average molecular weight (Mw) converted in terms of polystyrene measured by high speed liquid chromatography to number average molecular weight (Mn).
