SOLUTION: A check rule design support system 100 includes a product information registration part 101 for receiving and registering product information, a business process information registration part 102 for receiving and registering information about a business process of handling a product, a business data information registration part 103 for receiving and registering information about business data handled in the business process, a check rule template generation part 104 for generating and storing a check rule template, a check rule design part 105 for receiving a selection from the business data used in a given product or given business process in a first area represented by the check rule template and a selection from comparison values and relational operators for the selected business data in a second area, and storing them as a check rule definition, and a check rule generation part 106 for applying the business data, comparison value and relational operator specified by the check rule definition to a conditional branch statement in a predetermined program language to generate and store a check rule.
