      SOLUTION: The parked vehicle lock device is formed of a lock plate 3 having one end thereof rotatably supported by a base plate 9, and capable of erecting by rotation of the one end, an electric motor 13 for generating driving power for erecting the lock plate 3, a threaded shaft 15, a nut member 17, and a link mechanism. The link mechanism links between an intermediate portion of the lock plate 3 and the base plate 9, is operable by the driving power of the electric motor 13, and transmits the driving power to the lock plate 3 to erect the same. Further the link mechanism 7 functions to support the lock plate 3 in an erect position with respect to the base plate 9.
