    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavating bit in a simple structure for foundation work and an excavation method which forms an extended diameter hole in a bottom part securely and allows a worker to confirm the formation of the extended diameter hole easily.
      SOLUTION: This excavating bit includes an extensible claw 4 connected with the lower end of an excavating rod 2 to extend its diameter when the excavating rod rotates reversely and the contract diameter when it rotates forward and provided at an outer peripheral edge of a spiral blade. A basic part 4a of the extensible claw is pivotally supported to turn in the direction of right angle of the main face 1a of the spiral blade. This excavating bit has an L-shaped confirmation pin 5 having one end supported to turn in the same direction as the direction of turn of the basic part between the basic part 4a and the tip part 4b of the extensible claw and has a pin case 7 storing the other end of the L-shaped confirmation pin on the main face of the spiral blade so that the other end of the L-shaped confirmation pin can be stored in the pin case when the excavating rod rotates forward to start excavation and the other end of the L-shaped confirmation pin can be separated from the pin case by virtue of reverse rotation of the excavating rod.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crack repairing tool for simplifying work for repairing a slender crack, particularly, a linear crack which occurs in a concrete member. SOLUTION: The crack repairing tool 1 comprises a rubber member 10 for covering an area of a crack C of a power pole P. In an abutting face 11 of the rubber member 10 on the power pole P, a guide groove 14 is provided for guiding repairing agent R along the crack C.
