摘要： Provided is a vacuum-molded lid which can close an opening of a container body having a vertical wall type opening periphery. A lid (10) comprises a top surface (2) and a side surface (3) extending from a peripheral edge (2a) of the top surface, and can close an upper opening of a container body by locating the side surface over a vertical wall type opening periphery which forms the opening. The side surface is provided with a body fitting rib (5) which can be fitted onto a lid fitting rib provided on the opening periphery, and a fitting force retention rib (6) which retains the fitting force to the lid fitting rib. Thereby, even if the side surface of the lid is bent outward once so that the body fitting rib goes over the lid fitting rib, the side surface of the lid has a stiffness sufficient to return to the original state, and thus, the lid for the container body having the vertical wall type opening periphery can be formed by vacuum-molding.

The lid engaging rim has a pair of thin-walled incisions 523 of 100 to 350 μm in thickness on which a lid cutout 522 that faces the body cutouts when the body engaging rim is engaged with the lid engaging rim can be formed and which are formed along the lid engaging rim at an interval equivalent to the width of the lid cutout. The peripheral portion 401 of the thin-walled incisions on the top portion of the lid is formed as a thick-walled portion.
