SOLUTION: The orthodontic appliance 1 has a bracket 15 fixed to a teeth row and a wire 14 connected to the bracket 15, and straightens the teeth row with drawing force by the wire 14. The orthodontic appliance 1 is provided with an anchor screw 11 fixed in the state of standing straight at the gum and a plate 12 for fitting the wire 14 to the anchor screw 11. One end of the longer side of the anchor screw 11 projects from the gum 22 in the state of standing straight, and the plate 12 is freely put through the projecting part of the anchor screw 11.
