    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone capable of eliminating an anxiety over user's health by reducing the amount of the irradiation of an electromagnetic wave to the brain during the use of a portable telephone.
      SOLUTION: A portable telephone 1 opens cases 2 and 3 at the time of use although the two cases 2 and 3 are folded up at the time of carrying. Operative surfaces are formed on inside surfaces of the cases 2 and 3. A metal layer 12 is laminated on a face at the side attached with to an ear at the time of use in the portable telephone 1 (a shading portion expresses the metal layer 12). Although an electric wave is transmitted from the portable telephone 1 in such a way as of a prior art, the metal layer 12 is located in the side which abuts the head. Therefore, since the electromagnetic wave irradiated to the head is reduced, there is no anxiety over injuring user's health, even if using the portable telephones 1, 50 and 51.
