    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perfectly remove developer remaining on a developing roller and to keep the state of toner imparted to a photoreceptor constant so as to maintain high-printing quality by coating at least the surface of a developing roller with a resin layer.
      SOLUTION: The developing roller 5 to which the developer 9 is supplied is opposed to a photoreceptor 2 on which an electrostatic latent image is formed, and the toner in the developer 9 adheres to the electrostatic latent image so as to make it a visible image. The roller 5 is made freely rotatable and rotated in the same direction as the moving direction of the photoreceptor belt 2 in a state where its rotary shaft is parallel with the width direction of the photoreceptor belt 2. It is desirable that material having conductivity such as metal, etc., is adopted as the core material of the roller 5. It is desirable that the surface of the roller 5 is coated with fluororesin, and also is desirable that the coating film is thin. It is good to form the coating film of resin by applying resin paint or winding tape-like resin, and also is good to mold the entire roller 5 of fluororesin.

Thereby, it prevents such trouble that the liquid developer flows out from the first squeeze roller and ends tip soiling the sensor window and a photoreceptor.

      SOLUTION: This apparatus has a shield part 1 arranged at an opposite position to a powder-holding body 9 holding a charged powder 8 a quantity of charges of which is to be measured, and an inner container 3 having a filter 4 thereinside which is to be inserted and removed to the shield part 1 from an opposite direction to a direction seen from the shield part 1 where the powder-holding body 9 is present and, detachably secured to the shield part 1. A distance between a nozzle 5 as a suction opening through which the charged powder 8 is sucked and the powder-holding body 9 holding the charged powder 8 is kept constant, so that the quantity of charges of the charged powder can be measured stably under the same condition at all times. The apparatus for measuring the quantity of charges of the powder is accordingly improved in measurement accuracy.

      SOLUTION: Ink is sucked via a cap 7 when a pump 8 is driven to fill the ink, entering a joint part 2 from a cartridge 1 into an air bubble accumulation part 3 via an upstream path. The ink passing a filter 4 is sequentially filled in a common liquid chamber 5 and a nozzle part 6 through a downstream path. At this time, a flow velocity of air bubbles flowing from the cartridge 1 is decelerated at the air bubble accumulation part 3, whereby the air bubbles float because of the buoyance and are adhered to an inner wall of an ink passage subjected to hydrophobic treatment. Moreover, the air bubbles are stopped by the filter 4 not to flow downstream.

A cover member 42 slidably coming in contact with the toner storing body 4 is provided on the outer periphery of the toner storing body 4 so as to make a part opposed to the chamber 3 open.
