    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern forming apparatus which can form a pattern excellent in feeling of distinction, depth and moving by a coating film containing a magnetic material.
      SOLUTION: The pattern forming apparatus is constituted by making the sides of sheet-like magnets 11, 12 contact so that magnetic poles of the outside and the inside of the adjacent sheet-like magnets 11, 12 are different respectively. A coating material containing the flat magnetic material is coated on a material 16 to be coated consisting of a nonmagnetic material to form a coating film 17. The sheet-like magnets 11, 12 are arranged along the surface of the coating film 17. In this state, a magnetic field is applied on the coating film 17 by the sheet-like magnets 11, 12, the magnetic material in the coating film 17 is oriented by the magnetic field, and the magnetic material is oriented nearly in parallel to the surface of the coating film at a contact part 19 of the sheet-like magnets 11, 12. Then, the coating film 17 is constituted so as to form the pattern by the magnetic material.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insert molding method for a casing which facilitates the application of an adhesive to a metal outside appearance member by adding a diluent to the adhesive for dilution, softening the adhesive at an injection molding temperature and bonding a plastic member, the adhesive and the metal outside appearance member to one another by heating.
      SOLUTION: The insert molding method comprises a step of preparing the metal outside appearance member, an application step of applying the adhesive to the inside surface of the metal outside appearance member, a step of heating the metal outside appearance member applied with the adhesive to solidify the adhesive and bonding the adhesive to the metal appearance member, a step of attaching the metal outside appearance member to a plastic injection molding mold, injection-molding a heat-molten plastic member to the upper surface of the solidified adhesive of the metal outside appearance member, softening the adhesive at the injection temperature for the heat-molten plastic member to bond the plastic member with the adhesive, then solidifying the plastic member and the adhesive so as to form a plastic layer composed of the solidified plastic member on the metal outside appearance member and a step of taking out the product of the metal outside appearance member. The method improves the rate of non-defective items and shortens a time of a production process effectively.
