摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical sawing machine capable of adjusting the angle of sawing and dividing a workpiece, while holding the workpiece substantially horizontally and in a gentle manner. SOLUTION: The vertical sawing machine is provided with a base 201, a machine stand 20 comprising a cantilever part 202 which erects from the back side of the base 201 and extends toward the front side, a work table 21 supported by the base 201 of the machine stand 20 so as to make the top surface of the work table 21 substantially horizontal, and a saw straightly straddling the tip end part of the cantilever part 202 and the work table 21. The base 201 of the machine stand 20 comprises a swinging part 203 having the cantilever part 202 erected, a pedestal part 204 supporting the work table 21 substantially horizontally and holding the swinging part 203 so as to allow the swinging part to swing, and a locking means 23 provided so as to releasably lock the swing of the swinging part 203 relative to the pedestal part 204. SOLUTION: A support frame having two cantilever members vertically in parallel opposite to each other for installing the jig saw between the free ends, is axially supported by the work table where the workpiece is placed to be sawn and divided with the jig saw which penetrates through the workpiece in a straight line, so that the two cantilever members provided above and below the work table can swing in laterally opposite directions.
