    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood circulation state measuring apparatus for measuring an index value indicating blood flowability and an index value indicating blood vessel hardness by noninvasive measurement. SOLUTION: The blood circulation state measuring apparatus performs prescribed calculation using the flow velocity of blood and a blood pressure and calculates the blood flowability and the blood vessel hardness. The continuous waves of ultrasonic waves are transmitted to a blood flow and the flow velocity of the blood is obtained from the change amount (doppler shift) of the frequency of the reflected continuous waves. In the meantime, a value measured by a general sphygmomanometer or the like is utilized for the blood pressure. The blood flowability is calculated by inputting the maximum flow velocity and the maximum blood pressure among the values acquired in the above-mentioned manner to a prescribed calculation formula, and the blood vessel hardness is obtained from a waveform which is the second-order derivative of the waveform of the blood flow velocity. The blood circulation state measuring apparatus is allowed to simultaneously obtain the two indexes of the blood flowability and the blood vessel hardness, and by obtaining a distribution by the two indexes, a health state is recognized more easily with less burdens on a patient compared to the conventional inspection method.
