摘要： A usage metering system for determining computer resource utilization is described herein. Computer resource utilization is determined by accumulating instances of computer resource utilization based on array of counters. This enables an accurate determination of instances of when a predetermined threshold baseline of computer resource utilization is exceeded over an accumulated period of time. By using an array of counters to collect data rather than averaging values over time, a more accurate indication of computer resource utilization is determined. The usage metering system has little impact on computer system resources, because snapshots can be taken on a fairly infrequent basis, and any computer resource utilization calculations can be performed on computer platforms separated from the system being monitored.

摘要： A system for testing integrated circuit chips is comprised of a selectable number of pattern generators, each of which is coupled via a separate bus to a selectable number of chip driver circuits. Each pattern generator also is coupled to a respective memory, which stores different bit streams that are readable one word at a time. In operation, each pattern generator selectively reads the bit streams, word by word, from its respective memory; and its sends the words that are read to all of the chip driver circuits which are coupled to its separate bus, simultaneously. While that is occurring, each chip driver converts the words which it is sent into bit serial test signals which test multiple integrated circuit chips in parallel. Since all of the pattern generators operate in parallel, and since each pattern generator sends bit streams to all of the chip driver circuits that are coupled to its bus simultaneously, a high speed of operation is attained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a computer software system that enables a developer of a vocalization system to generate syntax and a corpus used for the system.
SOLUTION: A table interface is used and phrases of syntax are put in cells of the table. This table includes token data corresponding to respective effective speeches. When the syntax is prescribed, the computer software system automatically searches the table to list up all possible effective speeches of the syntax. Through this search, a list (corpus) of the effective speeches and their tokens is generated. Then speeches can be interpreted for the vocalization system by using the list. This computer software system replaces a syntax rule in the table with formats compatible with various speech recognition devices which can be obtained on the market.
