摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor capable of detecting leakage of organic liquids such as hydrocarbon fuels contained in aboveground and underground fuel storage tanks.SOLUTION: A sensor 10 detects the presence of an organic liquid. The sensor 10 includes an elongate substrate 16 having first and second opposed surfaces 12, 14, and a first sensor surface 18 disposed on at least a portion of the first surface of the substrate and a second sensor surface 20 disposed on at least a portion of the second surface of the substrate. The sensor also includes a bridging electrode 22 electrically coupling the first and second sensor surfaces. A first electrode is disposed on the first surface of the substrate and electrically coupled to the first sensor surface, and a second electrode is disposed on the second surface of the substrate and electrically coupled to the second sensor surface.
