    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for transmitting and monitoring signals which is simple and inexpensive without needing its maintenance so much in a device in which many on/off detection terminals 1 are installed by being distributed in wide area and which transmits the state signals of the detection terminals to a remote monitoring place 2 and monitors them using common electric wire 9.
      SOLUTION: A ladder circuit is constituted by connecting resistors which are individually different according to the detection terminals to on/off signals of the detection terminals, when a specific resistance value is measured by measuring input resistance of the ladder circuit, a fact that change occurs in a detection terminal to which the resistance value is connected, if many detection terminals are connected to the ladder circuit, specification becomes difficult by an influence of insulation resistance among the on/off signals. The present invention excludes the influence of the insulation resistance, detects and specifies state change of the detection terminals of measurement of resistance of the ladder circuit, there is a method for reducing the influence of the insulation resistance by connecting the resistors to the on/off signals in parallel and a method for short-circuiting the insulation resistance by a transfer contact.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wave measuring method using a distance sensor capable of determining the waveform of a wave from distance measurement to three points on a water surface, and measuring the height, moving direction and speed of the wave, and a measuring system thereof.
      SOLUTION: This wave measuring method comprising: a first step for setting three points lined on a nonlinear line on the water surface 11 as measuring points, arranging three non-contact distance sensors 12 to 14 above the water surface 11, setting the objective measuring point at every distance sensor 12 to 14, and continuously measuring the distances between the measuring point and the distance sensors 12 to 14, and calculating vertical variation data in each measurement point from the obtained distance data to determine the waveform of the wave passing the measuring point; a second step of determining the mutual correlation of the wave between the measuring points to determine delay time when the wave having the same waveform passes each measuring point substantially; and a third step of determining the speed and moving direction of the wave based on the position of each measuring point and the delay time between the measuring points.
