    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector plug, which is often used for turning cables in a narrow space and with which the degree of freedom of optical fiber cord processing is improved since optical loss by bending where the fiber cord extending from each optical connector needs to be laid down with largely bending in the vicinity of the optical connector plug in order to increase the space efficiency depending on the installation place of an optical fiber connection device.SOLUTION: The optical connector plug 1 includes: a rear collar 3 which accommodates and holds a yoke 9 in one side and a bearing part in the other side; and a rotation pivot part 14 having a rotation shaft engaged with the bearing part. The bearing part and the rotation shaft regulate the rotation range of an optical fiber S and hold it at a predetermined rotation position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid dropping a flange of a ferrule assembly out of an engaging portion of a housing when the ferrule of an optical connector is pressed.
      SOLUTION: An optical connector includes a housing 2, a ferrule assembly 3 and a compression coil spring 12. A flange of the ferrule assembly 3 is engaged with an engaging portion of the housing 2. The ferrule assembly 3 is held in the housing 2 movably back and forth by the compression coil spring 12. At one end aperture side of the housing 2, a housing area of the ferrule assembly 3 is defined by a fitting portion facing a guiding portion of the flange of the ferrule assembly 3 and the engaging portion which engages with the flange. A disengagement position of the flange from the engaging portion of the housing 2 is substantially conformed to the solid height of the compression coil spring 12.
