摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdery flocculant compsn. which can cause a flocculation reaction of contaminants floating and present in a waste water in a short time only by adding and stirring or dispersing the flocculant into the waste water to be processed, and to provide a water processing method using this compsn. SOLUTION: This compsn. is composed of an inorg. powder material, natural or synthetic polymer flocculant, and if necessary, other functionally necessary additives. The inorg. powder essentially consists of active silicon dioxide and alumina and shows at least 15mV absolute max. zeta potential. The polymer flocculant is soluble in water and is in a fine powder state compared to the state usually used. These materials are uniformly mixed into a powder state to obtain the functional powder flocculant compsn. This flocculant compsn. in a single state is directly added and stirred in the water to be processed, and the flucculation reaction is completed in a wide pH range. The produced floc excellent in dimensional stability and a dehydrating property is separated and discharged from the system.
