    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-thrifty rain/snow gauge which performs measurement without freezing received water and rain by locally warming instruments such as a tipping bucket.
      SOLUTION: The rain/snow gauge comprises a water receiving device which opens upward, a water filtering device which is placed below the water receiving device, the tipping bucket which swings on a pivot when a predetermined amount of water is accumulated by receiving water from the water filtering device and discharges the water into a drain outlet, and measurement means which measures the amount of water from the number of swings of the tipping bucket. The tipping bucket and the drain outlet are covered with a highly heat-conductive metallic heat transfer plate, to which a heater is connected. A heater cover for covering the tipping bucket and the drain outlet is provided outside the heat transfer plate.

      SOLUTION: A rotation output generator is mounted to obtain a rotation signal of wind speed in accompany with the rotation of a propeller, by mounting a hole element near a rotor having one or a plurality of rotated magnetic poles. The rotation signals from the rotation output generator are compared by a plurality of comparators on the basis of different threshold values, and each self-pulse is formed by the plurality of pulse generators on the basis of self-output from the plurality of comparators. By applying the self-pulse to a logic circuit, the rotation signal of wind speed can be multiplied.
