摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a method and means wherein a shaft and paddle assembly can produce larger power and can remarkably increase production ratio at a smaller stress level than the existing machine. CONSTITUTION: A method of constructing a shaft and paddle assembly for mixers and processors wherein radially aligned paddles 22 and 23 on parallel shafts 12 and 13 revolving at the same speed in the same direction of rotation, and both completely wipe and co-wipe the interior of the barrel of the mixer or processor which has a mixer chamber 11 comprising interconnecting cylindrical bores, is provided. The co-wiping paddles are formed with paddle bores of a configulation comprising alternating lobular projections 38 and root recesses 39 and arcuate corner portions on these projections and recesses. The arcuate corner portions of the projections are tangential to the arcuate corner portions of the root recesses. The shafts are formed with intermeshing matching projections and root recesses.

摘要： PURPOSE: To convert org. waste to a useful material and to recover heat energy by extracting a relatively light volatile material during treatment by using a twin screw mixing machine in which an org. material is put from its one end and the same is discharged as coal from its other end. CONSTITUTION: The municipal waste having a relatively high paper content is supplied from a hopper H into an 8 figure-shaped barrel chamber 12 of a mixing reactor R and is heated and compressed by the heat medium in a jacket 21 in a first material shearing and compressing region 19 by the screw constituting body of every region mounted at shafts 13, 14 rotating at the same speed. The air and steam are discharged from a discharge port 18. Next, the light volatile material is extracted in a first decompression region 23 and is passed through a recompression region 29 and a shredding and compressing region 30 where the waste is heated up and carbonized and the light volatile material is generated. This volatile material is discharge as the material for fuel from a discharge port 26 and is further carbonized in a region 31. A heavy volatile material is extracted in a second decompression region 37 and is led out of a discharge port 38. The carbonized waste is taken out through a vapor shield region 46.

摘要： PURPOSE: To enable the execution of the same self-wiping and barrel wiping actions by providing the subject mixer with mixing bore holes or barrel parts which have the shafts rotating around stationary axial lines of rotation and have the diameters increasing in such a manner that the mixing action is weaker in one portion of the machine. CONSTITUTION: This mixer has a first barrel part which has a pair of the interconnected internal mixing bore holes 14, 15 of a first diameter, drive mechanism 22 to 25 of the shafts 18a, 19a and mixer members 18, 19 which are disposed to face on the shafts described above and to wipe each other and to wipe the interior of the barrel. The mixer is also provided with a second barrel part including the interconnected transition bore holes 42 to 45 of the progressively changing diameter. Further, transition crank parts 63, 64 extending in a radial direction and axial direction and mixing blade parts 54, 55 extending in a radial direction and axial line direction in an opposite direction are provided. These shaft parts and mixing blade parts are formed to a V shape and the blade parts are so shaped as to wipe each other over the entire length thereof and to wipe the large bore holes.
