    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump having a high coefficient of performance and a dehumidifier having low energy consumption per dehumidification capacity. SOLUTION: The heat pump comprises a booster 260 for refrigerant, a condenser 220 for heating high heat source fluid by condensing the refrigerant, an evaporator 210 for cooling a low heat source fluid by evaporating the refrigerant, and a heat exchanging means 300 provided in a refrigerant passage connecting the condenser 220 and the evaporator 210 in order to evaporate and condense the refrigerant with an intermediate pressure between the condensation pressure of the condenser 220 and the evaporation pressure of the evaporator 210 thus cooling the low heat source fluid through evaporation with intermediate pressure and heating the low heat source fluid through condensation with intermediate pressure wherein the low heat source fluid is subjected to cooling through the heat exchanging means 300, cooling through the evaporator 210 and heating through the heat exchanging means 300 in this order. The low heat source fluid can be precooled through the heat exchanging means before being cooled through the evaporator and the precooled cold heat can be recovered from the temporarily cooled low heat source fluid through the evaporator.

    • PURPOSE:To remove phosphorus, BOD, SS and ammonia at high speed and in high degree with a single vessel by adding particulates of dense iron hydroxide and/or aluminum hydroxide to a phosphorus-containing org. sewage, then introducing the sewage to a packed layer fixed with microorganisms under an aerobic condition. CONSTITUTION:A slurry 6 of dense iron hydroxide particulates having large phosphorus adsorptivity is added to the phosphorus-containing org. sewage 1 such as sewerage, and the sewage is stirred in a pipeline 10 and flowed into the packed layer 3 in an aerobic biological filter device 2 from an upper side of this device. In this case, aluminum hydroxide is exemplified as the particulates having the phosphorus adsorptivity other than the iron hydroxide. Moreover, both of the iron hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide may be used. Then, the phosphorus is adsorbed and removed quickly by the dense particulates of the iron hydroxide, etc., and SS in the sewage is captured by a biological membrane of the filter device 2 to be filtered and removed. BOD and ammonia are also removed biologically with microorganisms sticking to the filter material, and a clarified treated water 7 flowing out from a lower part of the filter device 2 is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To stably obtain a high nitrogen removing rate by obtaining a treated water by supplying a part of a denitrificated liq. to a biological nitrification part and circulating it and bringing the other part thereof into contact with a substance having a selective ion exchange performance to ammonia. CONSTITUTION:The treated water in which NOx is searcely contained and ammonia is allowed to remain intentionally is obtained by introducing a treated water containing an activated sludge from a denitrification part to a sedimentation tank, then, a relatively small amount of residual ammonia in the treated water is removed by a selective ion exchange by using the substance having the selective ion exchange performance to the ammonia such as a zeolite based mineral. In this way, nitrogen content in an org. sewage such as NOx and ammonia is efficiently and sufficiently removed. That is, the high nitrogen removing rate is stably obtained by combining a biological nitrification.denitrification process and the selective ion exchange process in a novel form.
